Why This Blog - Climbing the Cliff

First of all, I am neither a psychiatrist, nor a psychotherapist. I am not giving any medical advice here. I am just writing from my own experience and testing available strategies of coping with depression myself, exploring my mind, analyzing emotions, tracking my journey of self-discovery and my psychotherapy, and combating harmful convictions as a way of self-development. As for depression, it’s always good to know that you’re not alone, that there are others going through the same shit. I thought if something works for me, it may work for others and inspire them to continue their struggle, so not sharing it would be selfish, right? Let’s beat this bitch together!

I hope you find my writing useful, but even so, if you suspect you may have depression, please talk to a psychiatrist. The sooner you begin treating your condition, the more likely you succeed in getting rid of it.
